Optimum Edge Holdings builds and operates independent companies across multiple industries. We combine the focus of a specialist with the strength of a group — shared infrastructure, governance and standards — without diluting each brand’s identity. Every company runs as its own business; the discipline behind it is built once and reused.
Our story
Optimum Edge Holdings was founded in 2026. It began with a single operating business in building and facility maintenance, built around a plain conviction: South Africa’s public and private sectors are underserved not by a shortage of contractors, but by a shortage of reliable, compliant and well-run ones.
The holdings structure exists so that discipline — compliant documentation, governed finances and real accountability — is built once and reused by every company in the portfolio. A small operating company can then carry group-level standards from its first engagement.
We grow by adding capable operators to that structure, not by stretching a single brand across work it cannot stand behind.
What we believe
Our mission is to build and operate companies that clients can rely on and procurement teams can trust.
We commit to a scope and a date, then meet both. Every job carries a 12-month workmanship warranty.

Ngwachipa is a licensed neighbourhood tavern serving a full range of ice-cold beers, spirits, and drinks alongside braai snacks and grills. The local spot to relax, watch the game, and unwind with friends after work and over weekends.

Founder & Director, Public Officer
Tshepo Mohlatlole founded Optimum Edge Holdings and directs the group. He is the registered Public Officer and is personally accountable for the group’s governance, compliance and the delivery commitments made to every client.
He is the named point of contact on each engagement, keeping a direct line between the client and the person answerable for the work.
